Did you know that Christians are odd? Odd meaning, there are obvious distinguishable differences about being a Christ follower.

One of the most obvious distinguishable differences about the church is seen most vividly in the area of racial reconciliation. In our passage, Paul writes this to the Gentiles who have come to faith in Jesus. “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace” (Eph. 2:13-15).

With Pastor Daniel we explore how unity in Christ amidst the myriads of layers of diversity in a local congregation is a sign of the Kingdom. Given the escalated levels of hostility in our world today, a week marked by ICE raids, protests, declarations of war, Christ’s people need to be reminded about how the cross binds us to one another.
