In this message, we direct our attention to the second maxim of our church’s vision: prioritizing people.
To prioritize people means that our programming efforts and our resources are meant to promote the formation and flourishing of people. Not the other way around. We believe that being plugged into a local church community is one of the best accelerators for a person’s sanctification (i.e. becoming more and more like Jesus). You might remember Pastor Daniel saying in our Philippians series that working out our salvation with fear and trembling is actually a community project. It’s only in real authentic community that our souls find a venue for formation and flourishing. This is why we desire for every person to be connected and plugged into a life group. Our life groups are beautiful contexts where we all get to learn how to apply the grace of the gospel towards others.
