Kits Cares Community Market is a weekly community market that provides low cost and subsidized groceries to those with food challenges in the community. It is run by local churches working together to meet a community need.
The market runs from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm every Thursday and sells low cost produce and canned goods and takes cash as well as debit and credit. There is also a cafe area where guests can enjoy a hot drink and a sweet treat at no cost.
The market still provides some free items of food free of charge including bread, Whole Foods items, and dairy products.
For more information on the program or ways to get involved, please speak to LouAnn Schmidt, our church liaison to Kits Cares or email us.
