Ecclesiastes 3

We are continuing in our series ‘God In My Everything’ by reflecting together on play as a part of a healthy spiritual rhythm. I don’t know if play is a regular part of your life – whether it’s the kind of thing you schedule because it’s so important or the sort of activity that you barely think of. But in Ecclesiastes 3, we learn that there is a time for everything, a season for every kind of event, including “a time to weep and a time to laugh; time to mourn and a time to dance” (v. 4). Is there really a time for play – and how does it strengthen our connection to God and one another? Let's find out.
