We continue in our series God In My Everything with a message on Work. Many people have an uneasy relationship with work. Some treat it like an unpleasant-but-unavoidable necessity; to them, the good life would be never having to work again. Others have treated work like the highest priority in life, and expect it to fulfill their deep longings for purpose and a clear sense of identity.
But what if God has other purposes for work in our lives – including the intention to form us more fully into his image, to invite us to depend on and partner with him in the work of redemption, and to offer something of his Kingdom to the world? Consider reading and meditating on Genesis 1-2.
