Our Father In Heaven

In this message we launch into our series on the Lord’s prayer reflecting on the first line of Jesus’ prayer, “Our Father in heaven.” Pastors Daniel and Ben co-preach and hone our focus on two themes, the transcendence of God and the immanence of God. God is transcendent, he’s all knowing and all powerful, full of wisdom, but he’s also immanent, meaning that he’s near to us, he’s tender, compassionate and kind, he’s our Abba. Jesus teaches us that in praying we must keep both these attributes in tension with each other as we pray to our father in heaven.
