He explores the intersection of desire and the kingdom of heaven. In particular exploring humanity’s telos, the “whatness” of humanity. What is our purpose? What are we designed for? In the words of the Teacher in Ecclesiastes, “God has put eternity in our hearts.” In the words of St. Augustine, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they find rest in you.”
